Coke Larsen

Business Manager

Hi, I’m Coke! I’m the business manager here at Animal Care at Twin Lakes Center and have been here since December of 2020. I am also Dr. Flood’s wife.

I moved to the area back in 2005 to be closer to my parents. I have a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA).

I grew up on a farm with many different types of animals. Quite often we would care for the animals ourselves before calling in the veterinarian. It’s very difficult to see an animal gets sick or injured. It’s very humbling when they put their entire trust in you to help them get better. It is so rewarding to watch an animal heall and get back to themselves and the joy they have when they’re feeling better.

I am an outdoor person. Whether it’s playing with my dog on the beach in the garden swimming or bike riding those are my happy places. I also enjoy cooking and having my family over for a meal. For quiet time I like to work on puzzles and read.

Brittnie Collier

Administrative Specialist

Hi I’m Brittnie! I’ve been working at Animal Care at Twin Lakes Center since November of 2017.

I’m a Jacksonville native, born and raised. I moved to the south side area after graduating from high school in 2010. I’ve always loved animals and grew up around them all of the time. I’m also a huge people person. Being able to combine both of those into my work life is a plus and very enjoyable for me and seeing those cute, furry faces is always the best part of my day!

I fell into this industry by accident, but my passion for it grew very quickly and every day, I crave more information about every aspect so I can develop myself and grow into a more knowledgeable veterinary professional.

Laura Mitchell

Veterinary Technician

Hi I’m Laura! I’m a veterinary technician here at Animal Care at TLC. I’ve been in the veterinary field since 2011 and earned my certification in being a veterinary technician from Penn Foster. My very first clinic was in Ewa Beach, HI and it was during this time that I realized I had a passion for working with animals and loved how incredibly rewarding it can be.

My family and I only recently moved to the Jacksonnville area in July of 2020 on military orders.

Adrian Viruet

Kennel Specialist

Hi I’m Adrian! I’m a kennel specialist here at Animal Care at Twin Lakes Center.

It took me a little while before I ended up crash landing in Florida, but I’ve also lived in Puerto Rico and Italy!

I love working with animals. They bring happiness to everyone around them and being apart of what makes them feel better is what gets me up in the morning.

I knew that I had chosen the right profession when I was training animals and every day I came to work and wasn’t dreading being here.

Karisa Jones

Kennel Specialist

Hi, I’m Karisa! I’m a kennel technician here at Animal Care at Twin Lakes Center and I’ve been working here since July 26th, 2021.

I worked in a kennel prior to this job, and my duties were similar to what I do now. I am from here and recently moved back after being away for 2 years.

I began working in this field because I love animals and I want to go into the medical field. My favorite part about working with animals is that they are always happy to see you and they are just so cute you can’t help but smile when you see them. I knew I was in the right profession when I started to look forward to coming into work each day, and always leaving in a good mood.

Outside of work, I don’t really do much. I like to go out with my friends and maybe do some shopping but other than that I usually stay home with my husband and relax by the pool.

Rebecca Franklin

Client Care Specialist

Hi I’m Rebecca! I’m a client care specialist here at Animal Care at Twin Lakes Center and I’ve been here since April 5th of 2021.

I’m a Jacksonville, FL native and I’ve lived here for my entire life.

I love working in the veterinary industry because I love animals and it is my personal goal to continue my education in this field. My favorite thing about animals would have to be that they are so trusting and loving even if they don’t know you.

I knew I was in the right profession when I enjoyed coming to work each day, getting to see dogs and cats everyday as well as learning more and more about them.
